This work, executed entirely in Roman cement, explores volume and shadow through a projecting cornice. Its layered construction required precise coordination of each plaster layer to allow the plaster to form this historic stucco element. The natural gray-beige tone and fine hydration cracks speak more to the process of creation than to perfection. A quiet monument to craftsmanship and time.
