LIME1509
STORY
A reclaimed structure made of horizontal wooden slats fixed to a wooden support
frame from an old paper mill near Vienna serves as the base for this lime plaster composition. The coarse timber laths recall traditional hand-riven oak lath backing walls once used as plaster carriers, yet their exaggerated thickness disrupts that reference, creating a distinct tension between wood and plaster. Hand-thrown lime, enriched with natural earth pigments, seeps through the gaps and forms spontaneous textures.
