INTRODUCTION

Alexander Queisser composes conceptually conceived motifs on plastered walls with the aesthetics of destruction and the art of artificial raw decay. The trained master painter works with plastering techniques, theory of colours and the appliance of patina until his vision is precisely pictured on the wall.

"Every layer, every scratch, every trace in the structure of a surface tells a story. Even if some layers lie hidden forever, their presence is of essential importance."
